Throughout the story, Jesse performs a series of robberies and murders with his gang. Unfortunately, this life-style greatly affects some people in his life, especially his wife ezed James and his mother Zerelda Samuels. Zee James, Jesses wife, struggles with Jesses lifestyle and choices but is willing to accept them because she loves him so much. At first, Zee has no humpledge of Jesses activities with the gang.
